We used to use an unattractive old bowl to keep napkins in until S and Grandpa created this nifty mini-wheelbarrow out of scrap wood found in the basement. They looked at the shapes and sizes then one thing led to another. After an emergency trip to the hardware store for a suitable wheel and some fire-engine red paint, voila!
The napkin holder part was decided upon after S, hunched over and wheeling his creation around (with a couple of beanie babies along for the ride) declared it "too small." Which brought up and interesting discussion about scale and led to its present usage.
A project to be proud of. And a lucky little boy to have a grandpa to guide him in such endeavors!
